Global Individual Respect for Environmental Neutrality
It might sound like that, but it's a bit pompous! G.R.I.N.E. is a phonetic diversion.
What's most important is the general action we've put in place that applies to all our products: a much more real and essential focus that you can benefit from.
Since the development of our very first product (in the 80s), when we focused on our integration into the world of professionals, first and foremost the ready-to-wear world with our products adapted roaming uses and quality for a long product life.
For all commercial and product developments, whatever the sector of activity, we keep in mind the 3Rs rule that we adapted in 2014: REDUCE / RECYCLE / RE-USE.
Thank you Jack Johnson
But we still had a lot to do at that time...
G.R.I.N.E.
For us, it means a lot and we've been preparing it for a long time.
G.R.I.N.E. in 5 steps
Quality and sustainability: a long-term investment
The components used in the manufacture of our products must meet this high RESISTANCE criterion.
We know just how much daily use and high load conditions put a strain on materials.
Quality components, essential for increasing the product lifespan.
What's more, we find that our products far exceed the legal guarantee period.
Invest in a product that will help you perform for a long time to come, rather than buying short-term baggage.
Responsible sourcing: eco-friendly components
By respecting the quality standards determined for each component, our Sourcing department teams, in direct contact with all our suppliers, have been able to identify the most suitable components for us. respectful of the environment :
Flexible components: R-PET
- Outer fabric
- Canvas inner lining
- Webbing (all sections)
Injected parts: Ocean Bound Plastic
- Skid / Handle
- Telescopic handle cover
- Wheel covers
- Protective skis
Rigid sheets : Recyclable

Repair it yourself: a practical guide to maintaining and repairing your luggage
Our quality survey statistics highlight the three main components which are subject to the most stress and which can break first: Wheels / Telescopic handle / Zip fastener.
3 perceived problems with your luggage = 3 solutions proposed in our developments
It's easy, just follow the instructions, order the right parts and you're ready to REPLACE:
- You can change the wheel yourself using a simple spanner (hexagonal)
- Simply unscrew the wheel cover block at your office or home using a shaped screwdriver
- Unscrewing the cover and telescopic handle (using the same spanner)
- YKK branded zip fastener considered to be the most resistant
- Some luggage/containers are available in ZipLess version (e.g.: PRO G. => PRO Z.)
Together, we can do things differently by reducing the number of round trips products at the plant while limiting downtime. Accompanied by one of our technicians, you'll follow our assembly advice and take full possession of your professional luggage.
Save time and money.
Sustainable innovation: reducing drudgery and integrating dismantling into the design of our products
We go even further by incorporating the notion of PENIBILITY right from the development phase by our in-house Design Office, whether for our standard product ranges or for your customised products.
Clever assemblies to reduce the number of traumatic operations during INTRA (Made in France) & EXTRA manufacturing, and anticipation of the product's end-of-life with upstream consideration of the integration of the Dismantling.
Our process is complete, with the special feature of dismantling in our Breton factory.
Take advantage of this awareness campaign by asking us to return your end-of-life products.
Logistics and recycling: optimal sorting for a total ecological commitment
The team of logisticians maintains an active network in the recycling industry
A skip for each treatment requires excellent organisation to ensure optimum sorting:
12 skips, and yes, we're going all the way!
Office paper / Wrapping cardboard / Craft paper / Transparent plastic paper / Canvas / Scrap metal / Solid Polypro sheet / Honeycomb Polypro sheet / Battery / Electronic circuit / Thinner / Wooden pallet / Foam
All this sorting and collaboration has enabled us to exceed the 80% mark for waste-to-energy conversion.
We're having a great time!
We call this eco-design, eco-responsible, ecological...
For us it's G.R.I.N.E.
And if G.R.I.N.E. makes sense for you too, we'd like you to get involved by returning the bags, luggage, groundhogs and Bag PRO containers after their long lives with you.
Our treatment certificate (complying with the legislation) relating to this whole process can be awarded to you.
