In a transport network, agents must be able to carry their professional equipment, documents and personal belongings throughout their day.
For the drivers of Keolis Communauté de l’Auxerrois, one criterion was particularly essential: having a bag that was spacious enough to hold their cash register, but also a one-and-a-half-liter water bottle. In hot weather, being able to carry enough water is particularly important, while the chances of refueling are not always easy on the network.
The solutions previously used did not always meet these capacity needs. The renewal of the equipment therefore provided an opportunity to look for models more suited to the needs of the agents.
Another issue: following the change of operator, the network wanted to have simple equipment in its own colors rather than equipment associated with the colors of the old network.

Involving users in the selection of products
To select the equipment, several samples were sent so that the teams could discover and test them.
The drivers were thus able to choose between backpacks and panniers. The controllers, for their part, had several models of panniers adapted to their travel needs. Other employees also tested roller bags in real-life situations.
This approach allowed us to compare the characteristics of the products with everyday usage, rather than making a decision based solely on the catalog.
After several months of use, the assessment made by Thomas Després is overall positive: it highlights the quality of the products and reports satisfactory feedback from the teams.
